Notice: Shoreline Restoration Meeting, April 13, 2011
A Shoreline Restoration Public Informational Meeting is
scheduled for April 13, 2011 at 6:30pm at the Richard C. Shelby Building
located at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab.
This will be a good opportunity to learn about possible
shoreline stabilization methods and projects, associated environmental
permit requirements, cost estimates, legal matters, potential funding
sources and more.
A panel of experts will be on hand to make presentations
in their area of responsibility and a question and answer session will
follow. Whether you live along the shore or in the wooded portion of the
island, all property owners are encouraged to attend.
Attendees will include:

will present the results of his study and design for a shoreline
restoration project.
